When Matriarch covers your wedding, you get the Hollywood treatment. Our team includes principal photographer Rebecca Gatto, a Matriarch-trained second photographer, and a lighting assistant to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Every Matriarch couple receives a custom-designed wedding album, beautifully printed and rated to last for a minimum of 100 years.

I want to book Matriarch for my wedding. What now?
Matriarch clients can expect an online gallery of photos within 6-8 weeks of your wedding (although we like to send a few sneak peeks first).
The online gallery is great for downloading full-resolution images, posting to social media, and sharing with friends and family, no matter where they live.
It's also the starting point for your photo album. Choose your favorite images directly in the gallery, and we'll start the design process ASAP. Rebecca personally designs your album, making sure the story of your day is told artfully.
How and when will I receive my photos?
First: our working style. At Matriarch, we're not into stiff, awkward posing. Rather, for formal images, we prefer to coach, suggest, and create a fun atmosphere so every image shines with genuine joy. And during moments when all eyes should be on you, we'll disappear into the background. No one likes a camera in the face during their first kiss!
Second: our aesthetic style. Matriarch is classic, with a hint of nostalgia. We're inspired by film photos, but in a way that's subtle, not filtered. It's probably easier to show you...

What is Matriarch's style?
Founder and principal photographer Rebecca Gatto has been photographing weddings since 2015. Since then, she has photographed between 10-25 weddings each year.

How much experience do you have?
Your Matriarch wedding team will be led by founder and principal photographer Rebecca Gatto, an experienced second photographer, and a lighting assistant. We do not hire associate photographers.
We typically accept only one wedding per weekend, although we may cover two weddings on holiday weekends. Why? So you get the best of us: fresh, energized, and ready to do excellent work.
